The Illumination Process is the core practice of shamanic energy medicine. We constantly connect energetically with people. Such cords are usually formed when expectations, attachments or strong emotions are present, feeding the cords and allowing them to thicken until they become like a hose. Cords can hook inside us and our bodies like roots of trees. They can grow inside a lung for example and take residence causing breathing issues to the person. At the moment of death, when our brain shuts down and our heart stops beating, our bio-magnetic field collapses. If in that moment we are luminous and light, we have done our recapitulation and have no pendent business or toxic relationships or attachments, then our chakras can disengage easily from the central spine and our luminous energy field is able to travel to the Spirit world. Most of us however, have attachments and unfinished business which keeps our luminous energy field stuck in this world. Through practices such as recapitulation and the death spiral, you can receive help with setting your luminous body free and bring consciousness with you at the moment of death.
